In the Spring of 2024, the Illinois Council of Community College Presidents (ICCCP) were encouraged to examine how well community colleges were meeting the 30% aspirational goal for Business Enterprise (BEP) spending. In response, a BEP Taskforce was created with trustee, college president, and
CFO/Procurement Officer representation from every part of the State. After having met and discussed the issues more deeply, the Taskforce has agreed to host a BEP Summit.
