Procurement Task Force

The task force shall survey the state procurement process and make recommendations to:

• ensure that the process is equitable and efficient;
• provide departments with the flexibility needed to be successful;
• change the current structure of the procurement process;
• update the process to reflect modern procurement methods;
• increase women-owned and minority-owned business participation;
• increase participation by Illinois vendors; and
• reduce costs and increase efficiency of State procurements.
