The Illinois Commission on Equity and Inclusion (CEI) is aware of phishing scams in which individuals are impersonating CEI. CEI does not send unsolicited texts or emails threatening enforcement actions. Procurement Task Force

Overview

The task force shall survey the state procurement process and make recommendations to:

ensure that the process is equitable and efficient;
provide departments with the flexibility needed to be successful;
change the current structure of the procurement process;
update the process to reflect modern procurement methods;
increase women-owned and minority-owned business participation;
increase participation by Illinois vendors; and
reduce costs and increase efficiency of State procurements.
